The camp
THE Swiss triathlon camp for young people
The Challenger Triathlon Camp is for young people aged 12 to 17. Thanks to training sessions and theory lessons matched to each level, athletes of all abilities can take part.
It’s important that you can already ride a road bike safely. The camp is recognised by Swiss Triathlon and takes place every year during the summer holidays at the Centro Sportivo in Tenero, Ticino. Our goal: to give young athletes the tools to become complete triathletes. Most important of all: never forget to have fun!

For every level
Athletes of every level are welcome at the Challenger Triathlon Camp, from motivated beginners to ambitious squad athletes. Our training is designed so that everyone is supported individually and can grow according to their abilities. With differentiated training groups and personal coaching, everyone has a challenging, educational and above all fun week.
Practice and theory, cleverly combined
«Learning by doing!»
Our guiding principle, from Challenger founder Ueli Maass
Training in practice
At camp you’ll do up to four training sessions a day. If it’s your second or third camp, you’ll also do a performance test. The camp doesn’t prepare you for a specific phase of the season or a particular race. Instead, we weave a training net: we work on different focus areas and show that only their combination makes a complete athlete. Before every session we explain which focus it is dedicated to.
